I'm Jacqueline Arsenault, and you seem to have found my personal web site. Chances are, something or other here is broken or out of date. That's because this site is merely a toy for me. I like to mess around with installable website applications. It's been an interest of mine since, oh, 2004-ish. I was unhappy with LiveJournal and I wanted to host my own blog on my own site where I owned the whole thing. So that's what I did.
I don't blog too much anymore, at least, not here. You can find recent content at my Google+ or if you're lucky enough to know me in person, you can add me on Facebook. I also have an account at Pinterest that I add to on a fairly regular basis. Most of what I'm doing here is for my own personal uses, but if you find something useful, have at it!
I earn my living in the maritime industry. It has nothing to do with this site, so that's all I'm going to say about it.
As for my hobbies, they are many and diverse. I like to take pictures (I don't call myself a photographer, I just like to take pictures). I enjoy sewing, knitting, and crochet and fiber spinning. I'm interested in "lost" handcrafting techniques - things that people don't do by hand anymore because machines have replaced them, or because techniques have fallen out of style. I participate in historical reenacting (usually immersive reenacting, but I'm starting to do interpretive reenacting as well). I've done Medieval, Renaissance, Regency, and Victorian. I also enjoy tinkering with hobby electronics and solder kits. I like to freshwater fish and paddle around in canoes. I enjoy live theatrical productions (theater, musicals, opera, ballet) and orchestral performances. I also enjoy working as backstage/support crew for productions. I like to play games - both PC video games and tabletop card/board games.
As for my personality, I am an Introvert (an INFJ, specifically) except when I'm on the Internet, and then I cross the line into extroversion. I'm non-spiritual.
