If you’re a little bit of a nutter and have ever wondered what it would be like to climb into your tumble dryer with a friend whilst it’s on spin dry (and let’s face the facts here – who hasn’t?), then harness sphereing for two might just be the perfect experience day for you and your friend!

Rapid RC Racing Cars |

Whilst we appreciate the super fine detailing that has gone into crafting such a sweet looking RC car, it isn’t what we absolutely love about the Rapid RC Racing Car. Whilst we love that these cars are so small you can race them in confined spaces where normal RC cars wouldn’t be able to manoeuvre, that’s not what we absolutely love about these gifts for him either. We do like the headlights that come on during operation making racing in the dark a blast.

Parrot AR.Drone

We already use drones in the military to spy on our enemies and drop bombs on them, but they have typically been out of reach of the common folk given their multi-million pound price tags.
However the good people at Parrot decided we should all own our very own drones and created the Parrot AR.Drone, meaning for you and me the war has ony just begun!
It works as follows: you install an APP onto your iPhone and control the drone via a WIFI connection, using an on-board camera to see where your going. There are already two augmented reality games available (and we expect many more when the developers get hold of it) which means if you and a friend both own one, you can hunt each other down and blow each other up (with missiles you will only see on the iPhone screen), somewhat turning the virtual into reality.
The Parrot AR.Drone is a major step forward in gaming. Featuring gyroscopes, accelerometers, ultrasounds and visual input from downward facing cameras it is capable of maintaining its position and hovering at a height of up to three metres, stabalising itself and remaining hovering even if you let go of the controls!
It has a range of up to 50 metres, offers a generous 12 minutes flight time and can work in winds of up to 9mph, meaning you don’t need a perfectly sunny day (which lets face it is rare in the UK) to run it.
The slight downside is that it is a little bit costly, but given the advancement in gaming technology, it is to be expected. The Parrot AR.Drone is going to be big, that we’ll guarantee you.

Just what are Chatimals? Imagine for a moment if you will an experiment involving a hamster, a parrot and a truck load of helium… well you won’t be too far wrong. If when you were young (or even now your older…) you ever played that little game where you somewhat frustratingly repeat exactly what someone says to you continuously, then we would like to introduce you to your new best friend.
Your mother probably told you that copying what people say in order to wind them up isn’t big, and isn’t clever. The Chatimal however repeats whatever it hears back in a very low or extremely high pitched voice, which we have to admit (sorry mum) is very, very funny.
Tipped by the toy experts to be a contender for toy of the year the cute looking Chatimal is simple to use, simply press it’s paw, he’ll listen for up to 30 seconds and then repeat what he’s heard with some hilarity, even if you spoke to him in french! This fury little chap is set to mimic the world… we apologize for the frustration he’s going to cause in advance.

Rapid RC Racing Cars

The good things in life they tell us, come in small packages. This of course being a proverb that tries to convince us that bigger isn’t always better.
Having spent an afternoon putting the Rapid RC Racing Cars through their paces we think they may well be right, whoever “they” may be.
Whilst we appreciate the super fine detailing that has gone into crafting such a sweet looking RC car, it isn’t what we absolutely love about the Rapid RC Racing Car. Whilst we love that these cars are so small you can race them in confined spaces where normal RC cars wouldn’t be able to manoeuvre, that’s not what we absolutely love about the Rapid RC Racing Car either. We do like the headlights that come on during operation making racing in the dark a blast, but again it isn’t the one true thing that we absolutely love about the Rapid RC Racing Car.
We should point out here that these cars are fast, very fast during normal operation. But what we absolutely love about the Rapid RC Racing Car, is that by simply hitting the boost button on the controller, these cars become UNBELIEVEABLY nippy, It’s like having your very own nitrous oxcide system (NOS) at your fingertips.
What more do we need to add? They good looking, they’re extremely maneuverable, their fantastic fun and oh… did we mention how quick they are?
