Stepping on the scale once a day is perfectly fine, but weighing yourself several different times during the day may cloud your mind with questions like: Why am I not losing weight? Why do I weigh more of all a sudden? Did that lunch really add another pound to my weight?

You may not realize it, but you actually weigh more at night due to the water your body retains. Don’t worry about specific numbers and focus more on a strong diet and exercise regimen.


According to some studies, up to 90% of people who go on diets for the purpose of losing weight end up relapsing in less than a year. This is a shocking statistic that should serve as a real eye-opener to anyone who’s trying to lose weight. Relapsing is a serious hurdle that you must overcome in order to achieve your goals.

So, how do you prevent relapsing back into your old, unhealthy lifestyle? Avoid the temptation to snack or eat old “comfort” foods that you once enjoyed. Instead, maintain a strong focus towards your weight and health. As you begin to see the results of your new lifestyle pay off the form of a slimmer, fitter body, you’ll naturally want to continue.
